About ALMS

Abraham Lincoln Middle School (ALMS) was established in 1993, located on 1239 Nelson Boulevard in Selma, California. ALMS is a 7th and 8th grade middle school with approximately 970 students. Our goal is to continue focusing on academic growth and to prepare our students for high school. The school offers many academic, co- and extra-curricular activities for our students such as: After School Program, Band, Choir, Color Guard, Mexican Dance, Percussion, Spanish, Leadership, Career Technical Education electives including Manufacturing, Computers, Computer Science, Media Arts, Robotics, and Foods, along with a full athletic program that is supported by the school, the district, and the community. On a monthly basis the school community celebrates Students of Character with a luncheon recognizing students who exhibit excellent character. Additionally, each semester, we recognize our students for their academic achievement with our Academic Awards nights – we completely fill the ALMS gym with students and parents each of these nights as we personally recognize each student by name.
