Principal's Message

Katie Carmany
Dear ALMS Families,
Welcome to a brand new school year at Abraham Lincoln Middle School! Whether you're a returning family or new to our community, we are absolutely thrilled to have you with us. There’s nothing quite like the energy of a new school year and we can’t wait to get started!
As I continue as principal of ALMS, I’m filled with hope, excitement, and deep gratitude. Last year reminded us of the incredible strength and resilience of our students, families, and staff. Now, with a fresh year ahead of us, we’re ready to build on that strength and create even more opportunities for learning, growth, and connection.
This year is full of promise. It’s a chance for every student to discover new interests, build meaningful friendships, and stretch themselves in ways they never thought possible. Our amazing team of educators has been working with dedication and heart to ensure that this year is both academically challenging and personally rewarding for every child who walks through our doors.
At ALMS, we believe that school should be a place where students feel inspired, supported, and valued. We’re committed to creating a joyful and safe environment where every student can thrive, not just as learners, but as kind, confident, and capable individuals.
We also know that we’re stronger together. Your involvement, whether through volunteering, attending events, or simply staying in touch, makes a huge difference. We value our partnership with you and look forward to working together to make this year an incredible one for your child.
Inside this handbook, you’ll find important information about school policies, procedures, and key dates. Please take a few minutes to review everything, and know that our administrative team is always here to support you with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you for trusting us with your child’s journey. We are honored to walk alongside you and your family this year. Let’s make it a year full of possibility, growth, and unforgettable moments!
Sincerely,
Katie Carmany
